Speaker quality is usually crap anyhow,
I measure
everything on the headphone clarity scale. If the music has a richer texture
with headphones then your usually onto a winner.
That reminds me, playback under DirectSound is dire how the hell do MS
market Windows as a "MultiMedia" platform, music pops and crackles at random
intervals. WaveOut in Quicktime is far nicer.
