[CLUG] Identify CD-ROM drive?

Erm, That CDROM is not a simple IDE device at all! It must use its
Propretiary I/O Card. You probably have an FX-102, which may I add suck to
configure! Like the blue DIP switches on the card? they do fuck all
actually, apart from hardcoding a crappy I/O range for the card to use.(laf
probably the monochrome Hercules range :) )!

As far as DOS drivers goes, Mutsumi still have them banging around somewhere
on their site I believe!
As far as Linux driver goes for the card.......ha! doubt it very much,
unless someone somewhere went to the bother of coding up one for theirs. I
think you would have better luck finding an understanding traffic warden
before finding that driver!

Good Luck....

I tried that and it won't even boot (won't even count its chips, and the
CD-ROM tray button suddenly won't work). Looks like it can't be slave,
as there are no jumpers on the CD-ROM unit itself.
