Who the f*** was talking about Genesis?? In fact, had my posting
anything to do with Genesis? Is one not allowed to make a posting on an
interesting service? Where is the problem with giving details to
interested parties? I was not slagging the service, or putting it down
in any way, just simply giving the facts. It did not relate to Genesis
in any way. So please,

Really? Wow! Thanks for letting me know. Again, what has this got to do
with a purely informational posting on Chorus?

Certainly not. Its a necessary evil.

Lets get one thing straight here... "I" was posting on Chrous' service,
NOT Genesis. Ronan Kirby, an individual, and member of CLUG[1] mailing
list. It was not a posting by Genesis. You may or may not have noticed
the fact that I don't comment on or reply to postings etc regarding
Genesis, and I'm certainly not going to start now. Especially seeing as
the original post had sfa to do with Genesis.

And I applaud them for it. Then I suppose a company who is actively
_selling_ something would need to supply such information, as opposed to
a company who might still be in initial roll out stage.

That will be nice. Although I personally would gladly accept with open
arms anything that will interrupt `Corrie'. ;o)

I was not trying to degrade it in any way shape or form! I
__personally__ was making an informational posting, hoping I would
answer some of the questions people have been asking about Chorus.
Again, I was not speaking as a Genesis employee (note the posting did
not come from a Genesis email address). I have much better things to do
than put down other people's service. I will be happy to use any good
Internet service available until such time as others come along. I am
not a Sales droid, and couldn't be bothered attacking a service for
sales reasons. But if I __personally__ have technical issues with a
service that I use, I am happy to make my opinions known with a view to
getting the problem fixed, not with a view to making a company look bad!
But none of that applies here, as thats not what I was doing.

Indeed your correct. But I do know what I was on about. I was making a
posting for informational purposes on a service that I have and happily
use.

I couldn't prove that its a bad thing. I think its great! I'm delighted
with it! Lots of TV channels and great quality. I never for one second
even hinted at it being a bad thing.

Eh, hello? I posted _facts_ as I have them. I did not condemn anything!
I know what I posted from using the service and from talking to the
people who installed the service.

Throw down all the gauntlets you want. I cannot, and will not divulge
any company information. As to proving what Genesis offer... well at the
moment Genesis are offering nothing! Why don't you climb down, and put
your horse back in its stable. I'm sure once Genesis are actually
offering a service there will be all thr proof people want.

Ya know, I don't appreciate your mail one bit. I would like to think
that I can post a factual independent email without being jumped on by a
person with a bee in their bonnet. There was no hidden motive or message
behind my mail, and I'm sorry if you think there was, but I do not make
posting etc regarding Genesis, and you can be quite sure that anything
you see publicly from me in the future will not relate to Genesis.
> (BTW. Eircom XDSL should be in full swing nationwide by Q3 2001)
Ya know, I have to comment on this... you attack me over saying things
"that you know absolutely nothing about". So I have to ask, where did
you get this information? Unless you sit on the ODTR LLU Forum, you
could not possibly say for sure.
Now can we drop this sh1te please?
