Hi all,
I have this friend ( no its really for a friend not me ) , this guy is
setting up a website and wants to give people the ability to submit
c.v.s that are filled in online and depending on the trade of the
submitter wants some sort of variable incremented as well as the
cv mailed to him.
Example: some mechanic adds his cv in the "Automotive section "
and the page then says " There are 9 people who have submitted
their c.v.s in the Automotive Section" Next some Riot Control
officer adds her cv to the "Primary School Teachers" section and
the mainpage in that section says "45 people have submitted their
c.v.s in the Primary School Teacher section" and this cv is then
sent to his email.
I can use some mailform cgi for the CV submission but what do I
add into the script to increment some stored variable and then
display this as a number on a page ? I have no clue of perl/cgi .
Any help will be appreciated and the best solution will win you a
pint or some equivalent. Please complete the following Tie-breaker
in case there is a draw " I find the best way to get rid of those
uncomfortable irratations caused by MS is ....."
Answers on the back of a backup tape please or just an email.
Thank you.
Damien
