[CLUG] Question on setting UP address.

Either hard code the IP address, look in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (as I told you on the phone :P
Or work within the DHCP environment and tell your DHCP admin to allocate
the same IP to the MAC address of the NIC on the Linux box..
/sbin/ifconfig will tell you the MAC address (It's the numbers after the
word "HWaddr")

The second way is probably the better way of doing it.
