Hi John,
+ Silly question but how hard is the exam ?
+
I did a bit of searching on it yesterday, and it appears to be quite hard by
all accounts. There's 2.5 hours on debugging, i.e. fixing problems with
systems; an hour multiple choice; and another 2.5 hours on installation and
configuration. I know this sounds like a silly answer in return, but it
seems to be that if you're pretty good with Linux and networking, you'll fly
through it; if you don't you won't.
You'll find some info from the horse's mouth here:

I've tended to stick with what I know the last couple years -- I haven't
really expanded my knowledge much and I've taken the easy way out with
Webmin and the like, so I think I'd have trouble with it. I've been playing
around more recently though, hence all the question to CLUG. I'm quite
enjoying myself actually, it's nice to pick a simple little thing every day.
(Thanks for today's Donncha! :)
Now if only some chicky would pick up this simple little thing!*
