[CLUG] Kernel sources

Shouldn't the kernel sources have been installed in /usr/src/linux and not
in /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES? Also, if I submit "rpm -q kernel-sources", it
tells me that it hasn't been installed.

I tried the same game again, using the pppd sources, as I need the modules
patched for this TA. I selected it in GnomeRPM, and it simply didn't
install. When I used the same command line you gave me, it installed without
any error message.

I also cannot find the packages listed as installed. What exactly does
rpm -Uvh packagename do? I thought it was the syntax for a command line
install?

one correction. The dir is /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES and the rights are
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 12288 Mar 19 15:27 /usr/srv/redhat/SOURCES

ls -ld /usr/src/SOURCES
