[CLUG] Debian install problems

Hi,

Now I've never actually tried to install Debian myself, but I would guess that you have to specify SCSI support at boot time? And did you try installing on /dev/sda1 instead of /dev/hda ?

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, but as mentioned above, I do not have hands on experience with Debian.

Subject: [CLUG] Debian install problems

Hello all.
I am in the process of installing Debian.
I get an error message "no hard drive found" and suggests that I need to
load a hard disk driver from floppy.
I have a SYM53C875 SCSI controller with an IBM DCAS-34330W 565A drive.
What software do I need?
Where can I get it ?

Thanks.
