Wow! That's one of the better explained tutorials on iptables I've read in a 
while! 
I've limited my own dabbling in iptables to editing a /etc/sysconfig/iptables 
that was generated by the Red Hat config tools. 

Anyway, here's the netfilter website with lots more info, including HOWTOs and
