I was thinking along those lines. However the thing is that the MP3
folder used to contain folders (name of artists) and then inside
those folders were the MP3's themselves if you get me. So I'm
clueless as to what happened to those folders.

I suppose it couldn't make my situation any worse to try converting
them.
