The "war" in Iraq tells a different story. Bush's administration would never
have been able to start that "war" if the people were aware of the facts.
Bush's administration spun that there were WMD's on the ground, that Al
Queda was in cahoots with Saddam Hussein, that Iraq was an "immenent
threat". They provided statistics to back the assertions up. The statistics
were lies, and damn lies.
That's one example. Britain is another. If people weren't susceptible to
spin, the advertising and marketing industries would collapse. And the
sooner that happens, the better. Now we're off-topic, which comes as no
surprise to me. Goodbye.
