I'm need some more storage and am looking into getting a new
hard-drive. My question is, what should it get?
I have a Dell Xeon 2.4 with an 80Gb IDE hard drive. I want to get a
300 Gb drive and I have three main choices.

Get a second IDE drive (around 180 euro)
	Maxtor DiamondMax 10 300GB IDE ATA/133 16MB cache 7200RPM	Komplett #:
302612 / 6B300R0	euro179.00

Get a SATA drive and a SATA-PCI card (around 230 euro)
	Maxtor DiamondMax 10 300GB S-ATA 16MB cache 7200RPM NCQ	Komplett #:
302259 / 6B300S0	euro 194.00
	Seagate Barracuda 300GB S-ATA 8MB cache 7200RPM NCQ	Komplett #:
302884 / ST3300831AS	euro 194.00
	Sunsway/ST Lab PCI SATA RAID 2P, SiL3112 euro33.00

Get an external USB drive
	Maxtor OneTouch II USB2.0/Firewire 300GB 16MB 7200RPM euro 252

I plan to use the hard drive mostly for storing MP3s, movies, backups
of games/ software etc. I won't be installing an OS and I won't be
running software directly off it! So speed it's hugely important. But
I am willing to pay a little extra to future proof my investment.

The main reason I don't like external USB hard drives is that I hate
having loads of power adapters under my desk. Most of the newer USB
drives has a bulkly power adapter as apposed to the older drives that
contained build in power adapters.
