Ski,
They provide checksums and what I have didn't match; another reason to
believe it's corrupt, despite my being able to mount it.
Unfortunately the download is protected by a web-based login, so downloading
with wget wouldn't be trivial (I'd need to look at the cookies, etc).
I tried it with lynx and the file was sent as text, so I researched
downloading from a link (press 'd', I now know) and that gave me a wonky
filesize again.
I'll see how my second download goes before I try wget.
