Thanks. It was the TOG site that led me to the cork hackerspace
group. There's at least one TOG person in the cork hackerspace group
as far as I know. It would be interesting to visit the TOG
hackerspace. Personally I'd like to just meet other people hacking
away at robotics/electronics projects and then, depending on interest,
look into setting up a hackerspace but I'm not speaking for the group
so we'll see what happens.

In case anyone hasn't seen the group description, here it is:

If you're living in Ireland, interested in DIY design, hacking or
construction of any sort, and interested in setting up or taking part
in a co-operative hackerspace in Cork, please join and say so!

Interests Might Include:
- Reprap / Makerbot / 3D Printing
- Lasercutting and CNC
- Electronics
- Woodworking and Metalworking
- Programming and Interfacing
- Interactive art
- "Biohacking", or amateur microbiology
- Training workshops for beginners and intermediates
- Large group projects like DIY Electric Vehicles, Renewable Systems, Fermenters
