 speaking of telecom, i asked a guy at their stand at the comms99 exhibition
last week what are their plans (if any) are for rolling out ADSL.  the guy i
was talking to said they've run pilots in the Dublin area, their chief
executive has said he wants it working by the summer, but the guy i was
talking to said he though it would be more like the end of this year.

 nothing we didn't really know already, but there ya go.
