If you read the rhmanual it gives a clue to what might be wrong ...
On the HDD you are installing from move the RedHat directory to the root
and it should find it .. the path thing doesn't work, but the manual
doesn't really say it does either ... (I know I'm hard I don't read
manuals but feck it it saved me an age ftping it to another machine so I
could NFS mount it ..
