I'd say more then 4MB.  I tried installing both RH4.1 and RH5.2
on a 4MB machine and it was not a pleasant experience.  The installer
ends up discarding read-only code pages from memory and re-reading
them from the installation medium (floppy or CD) which ends up being
really slow...  The install might have completed after a day or two,
but I wasn't going to hang around waiting.

I don't know where the cut-off is, but 8MB should work fine.
