[ILUG] [COMMERICAL] Making money from linux knowledge ?

One of the things I mentioned at LAID was the growing market for Linux
professional services...

Can anyone that has time (either weekend or weekday, or evenings), and
wants to make a few quid,
can they give me a shout ? My brother has work for people, everything
from speccing linux based unix/NT backup solutions to physical hardware
install. Some simple stuff, some hard stuff.

There is good money to be made here - no reason why someone couldn't
make £100-£350 a day or so, depending on what you can do, and what work
can be found. This would be perfect for college people. If you can mail
me a short summary of what you can do, what hours you are free (I don't
want CVs - I want you to tell me you can do something, and I'll believe
it!), and contact details. Needless to say, some Windows work could come
up too.

Also, here's something for the mail linux.ie web page - a "Where to get
support" page. A list of support and professional services vendors, to
go with the "recommended hardware" page...

BTW, I'm making no money from this - I don't have the time :) It's my
brother with PC Source that wants to get people - they are
hardware/software resellers, that get people asking them for help quite
often, and they don't have anyone that knows Linux.
