http://www.irish-multichannel.ie ... interesting that they don't host
the site themselves... eh? Thought they were a communications company...
also, the site has been sitting idle waiting for something to be put on
it, presumably since they got the space and domain name ... the tinet
document that's there instructing Multichannel in the use of their
webspace is dated June 3rd.

Also, this "cable telephone" service that they've been advertising is
nothing of the sort, it's much the same as the esat/ocean offerings in
that they give you a router box to plug into your existing phone line.
Is it normal for cable companies to misrepresent their offerings in this
way? In Belfast I experienced a "cable modem" service by NTL CableTel
which consisted of plugging an ordinary analog POTS modem into a cable
phone line (this being used for both upstream and downstream). Possibly
they've changed this since then...
