Thanks guys for all your help, I got it off. But what i wanted to know is what version do u recommend to put on my other machine? I have SuSE Linux 5.2 on CDROM here, which was on my other system. oh by the way, the other machine is an old 486,4mb ram and 125mb HD, its not great i know! but it should be ok to let me play around with linux??? thanks again jay
