 Well, a reasonable "Network solution" would be:
    26x network cards   say £10 each, for "Cheap" ones.
    1x  Pentium server, with a multi-gigabyte disk - about £400 quid.
    2x 16 port hubs, £300 - also IT direct. 
    30x network cables - £2 each.

 BTW, these prices include VAT. I'm sure a college student could tie it
all together in a week. Checkout IT Direct. They have reasonable prices,
and they are Irish based.
