That is *such* a loaded question :-)

It's a branched version of Mozilla, branched in and around M14
(2 or 3 weeks ago I think), kept stable, and with some Netscape-specific
stuff put in including AFAIK the Netscape-licensed Java and HTTPS code.

Mozilla (free) supports Javascript. It supported Java a while ago, and
will again, but I think there was an API change that broke it a bit back.
It will support HTTPS (does right now I think, but it remains a bit of
a kludge) but again, that's a bit away yet.

Bear in mind that at the end of all this, we'll effectively have two
browsers to choose from - one specially packaged and neat Netscape one
for end users, and one bleeding-edge Mozilla without all the AIM and
Netcenter junk.

http://mozillazine.org/chromezone/

Still a bit kludgy - you gotta download, unzip, move into the right directory,
then launch with a particular argument. But I've just gotten three different
skins going here :-)
