Just to slightly tie the goalposts to the ground, supplying a standard
.config mighn't be a bad idea, in that the only loose variables are
going to be the ambient loads on various systems.

as an aside I remeber seeing somewhere (I think that Mike Knell may be
the culprit)  a rather interesting benchmark which included the colour
of the box :)
