This is bizarre. If NTL can't provide duplex cable modems, then how the hell
will they provide telephone service ? And if they can't provide telephone
service, why are they advertising it ? I think it's time to give up in
despair and order Eircom High Speed (yech - it was high speed when it was
designed, 20 years ago, but it's looking a bit pedestrian now) - I've been
putting it off since I came back to Ireland in the hope that cable/xDSL
would be here RSN but I'm afraid I've lost hope now. So much for Europe's
digital hub . . .
