[ILUG] mounting NFS freezes machine

Has this happened to anyone? (Red Hat 6.2 and earlier)

I add a directory to share in /etc/exports and restart nfs
(/etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs restart) then switch to a login on another machine
and attempt to mount the directory, the nfs server just completely
freezes and needs a reboot to clear things up!

Just tried this on newly installed RH6.2, but I noticed it happened to a
RH 5.2 box too.. (uses 2.0.3x kernel)
