[ILUG] Linux on Sparc 5 Model 170

Hi all
Could some one tell me which is the most reliable version of Linux to run on
the Sparc 5 Model 170.
I have been told that because of it's turbosparc chip it is not very stable
when running Linux.
If there is a recommended version please advise I would be grateful for any
tips bearing in mind I am a novice
to both Linux and Sparc hardware.
