[ILUG] Couple of Questions

Guys,

I have a couple of questions:

Firstly, I am getting a number of kernel token ring errors on my machines which
are running RH5.1.  They are of the form "tr0: New Ring Status 20". However, the
number at the end of the message changes. Does anybody know where I can find a
list of these error codes so that I can determine the cause of the problem.

Secondly, when  a PC is running at runlevel 3, is there any way that the screen
can be locked so that people cannot come up and start typing away - they must
type in a password to free up the keyboard.
