 Well you could try running the installer in wine. I did this once but
it didn't work very well installing from a CD as wine didn't really
emulate
 a case-insensitive filesystem very well. (Installer couldn't find file 
XYZ.AB_ when a file Xyz.Ab_ existed on the CD). I ended up copying the
 files to the HD and changing filenames as needed. Maybe wine handles 
filenames somewhat better now.
  A linux extractor for installshield installers would be handy though.
