I have a notion that any decent PC monitor will accept the (fixed-freq)
signal from the decstation, sync to it and display it. I have never
considered the possibility that a monitor mightn't be able to `sync on
green'.
If you have a monitor with bnc inputs, then just connect it up and give
it a go. If you only have a monitor with a captive cable and no bnc
inputs, perhaps you might try using a vga15-to-BNC cable `in reverse'
along with a VGA15 gender bender? I'm sure Maplin sell such things.
