As I understand it, there exists no concept of a network card having
a default gateway - the idea being that the *computer* has a default
gateway.
There exists an experimental kernel option, `IP: equal cost multipath',
CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_MULTIPATH, which allows for multiple default gateways.
I don't know how it behaves when a route or router starts to misbehave,
but I'd be realling interested in hearing how you get on with it if you
go that route. (Groan. :-)
