It leaves the only really good distribution. Debian. The only slightly
annoying thing about it is going through the 4351 packages in frozen
to see what you want, but I can live with that. 

Install procedure for my home machine:
Grab the current (27MB) install directory from ftp.uk.debian.org
Reboot with a DOS floppy (or create debian boot floppies).
Go through this part of the install (nice and quick, just untars a 15MB file
onto /)
Reboot. 
Login.
Run dselect and set up apt to head to
ftp://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/dists/frozen
Pick the packages, tell it to FTP them, and go to bed (126MB).
Wake up next morning and finish the configuration.

I like the combination of a good internet (even over dialup) connection, and
a nice
version of linux.

Then again, their copyleft tag is "Debian, the distribution your mom would
use
if it were 20 times easier."
