so's the range 5.15-5.30 GHz max 1000mW eirp (HIPERLAN, unfortunately no
products yet as the Merkins use the 5.7 GHz range)

Also the ODTR document ODTR 98/03 'Table of Frequency Allocations in Ireland'
is certainly helpful.

look into Aironet as well, their technology is IMO somewhat more advanced.

I'm almost sure this is the US version (up to 500mW eirp), ETSI versions 
max aut around 5km, I'm afraid...
