AFAIR you are allowed choocse where in the EU you pay the VAT. Therefore if
VAT is at 21% here and 0% UK, you can 'choose' to pay the VAT in the UK.
Were you from the UK and buying in Ireland you can also 'choose' to pay the
UK rate of VAT.

That's all very well if you're registered, or if it's a *lot* of money in
question. Otherwise for mortals it's a better bet to pay what you're asked
for and live with it ...
