[ILUG] setting up ISP stuff under Linux

Maybe I'm missing the point here. As I see it, you want a script to ask you 
questions about the ISP so that it can create the login script, etc, 
correct?

As I see it, you can't get much simpler than WVDial (Kwvdial). It asks THREE 
questions: 1. Phone number to ring, 2. Username and 3. Password.

Now, as I see it, you CAN'T get much simpler than that!!!! And believe me, 
I've beeen down the road of all the other possibilities.

I think you mentioned that you wanted this for the newbies to Linux. Given 
that 9 times out of 10 a newbie isn't too familiar with how Linux or any 
operating system works, then from my experience, a program which requires 
minimum input and setup is the way to go, i.e. WVDial! Oh, and btw, I am not 
affiliated to WVdial or any other dialer - Tucows says of it: "KWvDial is a 
graphical re-implementation of the popular WvDial Intelligent Dialer. It 
does away with Chat scripts, supports multiple profiles and generally makes 
getting online a breeze."
