I don't know anything about the card in general, but there are a few
things that might be able to help - what makes the screen look bad (more
than likely) is incorrect video timings - there's an application called
xvidtune (which can do damage when you're no careful - most of the time
it's not a problem) which adjusts your timings to make the best use of
teh screen. Also it might be worth having a read of the video timings
HOWTO - basically, the video timings tell how long to sleep before
re-displaying after passing off teh righthand side before reappearing on
the lefthand side, and similarily for top to bottom. Fixing those to
smaller sleep values widens the image.
