UDMA66 is faster than 33, but only if you have a '66 controller card and the
propper software. With the 2.2.13 kernel there isn't a whole lot of
performance increase.
The '66 drives will work on a standard EIDE interface. You may need to check
if your BIOS will support a large hard disk. If it's old, like my P166, you
wont get anyting greater than 8.4G on it without a BIOS flash update form the
manufacturers web site.

Anyone can make something work.
But it takes an engineer to make it *barely* work.
