[ILUG] NFS help, please - exporting and mounting /home

I would assume that this is a rights thing.  Create a user called cormac on
the local machine with the same UID and GID as on the remote machine, and
log in as that user and see if you can access the directory then.  Or
indeed, log in as root and try it.  If the drive is NFSmounted, then you
should be able to see everything.
