]Well, database <> website. Can you point a browser at an Oracle table ? No.

Have you looked at Oracle 8i? Most of the website is stored in the
database, and not in files. Even the static pages are stored in the
database. Programs are also stored there, within the Application Server.
Would I have it that this is what was originally meant, as opposed to a
website with Apache, mod_perl and MySql?
