Word 95 or 97 ? Thats the question really. Word 95 passwords can be 
cracked reasonable easily. Word 97/2000 ones are rc4 encrypted and are 
also crackable, but it takes a lot lot longer, and a serious system to 
get it done in a reasonable time. So...anyway on my site here...

Theres some links to encryption breakers for 95, and password guessers 
for 97, and the commercial company crak.com which has a custum network 
to crack rc4 passwords.

And of course if you're of such a bent the wv library at the above 
link has password validators for 95 and 97 built in, you could write 
your own guesser or cracker based upon them.
