[ILUG] (OT) cheap pc components needed

Very off topic here but I'm trying to help out a friend in need here.

The hard-drive in his OLD PC has given up the ghost. It's a 486 33!!!! Just
needed it for wp mainly. Anyway, he needs a new harddrive, so does anyone
have one lying around that they want to sell... anything from 500MB up
considered.

Also, if anyone has an old motherboard/chip/ram lying around I'll consider
that too. Anything 200MHz up I guess. Money is a real factor here (he's
strapped), hence the low specs. Oh, and maybe a case too if the board is
ATX.

I can salvage the CDrom, floppy, sound card, externals (monitor, kb, mouse)
from the old PC.

I'm thinking 200 - 300 quid should set him up with a semi-decent box
(compared to his old PC anyway) to get him back on the road.
