Afternoon,

Okay before people start saying use "xyz" version, I've got Suse &
Slackware to install fine on this machine. I want Redhat for some
testing purposes.

Anyway I'm getting the infamous Sig11 exit from the installer. I've been
through some sites [1] regarding this, but to no avail.

Solutions tried so far include
	1. Disabling Memory Cache in Bios
	2. Switching around harddrive dection settings
	3. Booting installer with mem=32 (64 mbs in the machine)
	4. Removing Various Simms and trying again
	5. Typing sync repeatedly in second console window
while doing each of the above installs.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Alternatively does Redhat
7.0 have this problem in its installer, or can it actually manage a
complete install?

Finally the problem also occurs in 5.1, 5.2 & 6.0. It doesn't happen
with 2.0 but then your upgrade fails with the same problem. And I
haven't tried 6.1.

Can people cc me on the replies, I'm only on digest at the moment.

l8r,
Fintan
