[ILUG] Vim colour support

I had this exact problem last week trying to get it to work within eTerm -
there is a set of lines that need to be added to you .vimrc depending on
whether you have 16 colour or 8 colour support.
Type
:help colour-xterm
while in vim and follow the instructions there.
