[ILUG] Debian 2.2 Module problems

Ah right! Well I guess you could try this to start with (make sure you
don't need to load any modules to complete the steps)...
dpkg --purge modconf modutils
apt-get install modconf modutils
(is there an easier way to do this?) to make sure that all the
configuration scripts etc. for modutils are correct... then try running
update-modules again and see if that makes a difference?
