I was suspecting that was the case but I Turned off every thing I could find in
the bios regarding power management: However here is Something I just noticed in
the logs....here is what happened on two nights:
Sep 12 04:02:01 athos anacron[16738]: Updated timestamp for job `cron.daily' to
2000-09-12
Sep 12 04:04:06 athos PAM_pwdb[16909]: (su) session opened for user news by
(uid=0)
Sep 12 04:04:07 athos PAM_pwdb[16909]: (su) session closed for user news
Sep 12 11:28:50 athos syslogd 1.3-3: restart.
Sep 12 11:28:50 athos syslog: syslogd startup succeeded

? Does this mean that news is crashing my system?
