[ILUG] Can Linux mount Netware filesystems ?

Please read carefully before answering :-) I have been asked if Linux can
mount local Netware filesystems. I know about ncpfs, and mars-nwe, and
linware - they do NOT do that. What my questioner wants to know is if it is
possible for a box running Linux to mount a Netware filesystem which is on a
disk in that box i.e. without any involvement of a Netware fileserver. Think
an analogue of ext2fs or reiserfs, rather than NFS or smbfs.

This is awkward to investigate (I've tried) because you get a bazillion
(OK - I exaggerate a tad - 13,800 responses from Google to the query
linux mount netware filesystems) hits about ncpfs, mars-nwe etc.

Regards,

Niall
