[ILUG] weird rpm behavior

And to follow up to myself....
1. It is a known bug,
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11151
It just hasn't been fixed yet, well the bugzilla status is still 'New'
2. The latest version of RPM is 3.0.6, the frontpage to www.rpm.org is out
of date.
