[ILUG] Sound problems.

Hi there,

I recently installed SuSE 6.4 on my machine, but the sound doesn't work
!! I tried using Yast 2 and it tells me to install Alsa, So I have, and
I have built and install that and run the sndevices and modprobed the
card and the pcm-oss modules. But when I do a modprobe -v I'm told that
sound and midi are off?

Am I missing something?
