[ILUG] fetchmail newbie question

Now that's just sick!  Sick, but... curiously appealing.

Running a local MTA is useful anyway because you can send mail and let
it pile up in its queue; many distros run the MTA's queue when a PPP
link comes up, so it all work out fabulously.

Now that I think of all the things that use the mail system (cron
being one) running a system without one is not a good idea at all.
