IT Direct in Parliament street are very good - especially on price, ring
them for most up to date prices.
www.itdirect.ie
I've always found them very good.

I specced out a reasonably good machine at the weekend for my brother
(use: mostly 3d rendering).

From Scan it came out at IR£870 (incl. VAT & delivery)
From IT Direct it came out at IR£1040 (incl. VAT)
Peats was looking slightly more expensive on most of the components so I
didn't bother getting a final price from them.

This was KT7A, 1.2GHz Athlon, 768MB, 40GB, DVD, CD-RW, GE-Force 2MX,
SB512, floppy, 300WPSU, Case, No monitor.

I know some people have had problems with both Scan and IT Direct, but
I've not. I haven't ordered often from Scan, but IT Direct are just around
the corner from me and I get stuff there regularly (and they were dead
helpful, friendly and efficient when I had to get a DVD-Drive replaced).
They have 256MB PC133 for £50.

Martin.
