[ILUG] [ot] Wireless Networks

Myself and a few friends are in the process of setting up a wireless
netowork using wireless lan cards (about $115) and better better antennas
than the inbuilt units (about $60). We are based in Terenure in Dublin and
we think we should be able to get a range of about 2 miles using this type
of setup. We are at a reasonably advanced stage and plan to buy equipment
and install at the end of september. If anyone is interested in getting
involved then let me know. I have just set up a mailing list for this. The

I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this as we are learning as we go
along.
